Genie GS 2032 problem

Hello,
I am looking for some insight on a problem we are having with our scissor lift. When the joystick is activated to drive or lift it starts pulsating the motor and will not run smoothly. It only runs smooth when it is fully depressed in the full throttle position. We have swapped in a new motor controller as well as disconnecting the hydraulic pump from the motor. We put a new circuit board in the platform controller and tried out a new joystick with no luck. We have put all the original parts back on with no luck and we also have another genie lift that I have hooked the motor up to to check and see if it would gallop still and it did not.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

I have a 2005 Genie z60/34 that will not drive. All the functions work except forward/reverse movement/wheel turning. No leaks or noises. I'm figuring something electrical but not sure what to do. Ground controls work and boom controls work. Anyone ever have this issue or know what to look for? Thanks

lull 844c transmission seal

I am in the process of swapping the 4bt cummins in my lift. I am changing the front seal on the trans just because it might save me a leak later. The old seal is a factory one with a directional arrow and small directional lines on the rubber. The numbers crossed referenced to a new seal without directional like the original seal. I am ready to install my engine but i am afraid this seal might be wrong. Does anyone know if there a difference in the seals? Please help me out!

Hello all. First time poster and a newbie with heavy equipment. I am looking for a used telehandler. I am familiar with the major brands by name but I didn't know Case had a telehandler. I was hoping to get an opinion on what people think about this brand and their telehandlers. It is a 2000 model 686G XR. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

finally got a forklift but cant identify year/model

been wanting a forklift for some time now.I could always find uses for them around the house but could never find a great enough deal on one to pull the trigger. Now having just put up a new pole barn I could use one a lot more

so I ended up picking up this old clark from a job I was working on.It was last used a year or more ago for odds and ends around a local concrete plant.I cannot seem to find any images close enough to narrow down results yet.I have been searching for a couple hours now at least.

First thing I did after unloading it was try to see if it would fire up.Cracked the propane valve open and right away what looks to me like a pressure relief valve just in between the tank and motor starts hissing/leaking.After closing the tank valve ruffly 3 minutes and the hissing goes away.

I grabbed a set of jumper cables and jumped a brand new fully charged battery to the dead one on the clark and has a super slow turnover.actually stopping after 1/4 to 1/2 revolution of the crank.

Any old clark owners on here?
What would cause such a slow crank over?
Looks like a generator setup if I'm not mistaken
How to identify model/year?
Any info greatly appreciated
Thank you in advance!!

Koehring 5522 Perkins 4.236 Injector pump questions.

Howdy guys

We have an skytrak 5522 with a perkins 4.236. Machine had a few fuel issues that got addressed today. The fuel issues were that the machine would not run with out the bleeder being opened on the injector pump. WE figured we had a clogged return line and blew every return line out.

That fixed the problem the machine runs with the bleeder closed but now it wont keep prime... The injection pump had a small leak from the top cover on the corner Now that the return lines are working can it be that the small leak on the top cover where the linkages are located is making the prime leak off?

Machine runs great but prime leaks off after an hour of sitting. Any ideas would be great I was wondering if I can change the top cover gasket with out bringing it to a shop certified to do this work.

Is this leak causing my prime to leak off ?? if I bleed the machine it would run again.

Parts locating advice

Hi Gents/ladies,

Second post here (maybe second dumb question of the day  )

I have a White-Rodgers dual wheel 6k forklift with a slant 6. I am convinced that it is somehow immortal. The guy that I bought it from put whatever oils/lubes in where and when he thought they needed it and was really concerned over what type/weight of oil was specified (short of engine oil however).

Recently, during colder (it doesn't get THAT cold here in Texas). The power steering gear box (right below the wheel, below the dash, and above the floor board) has begun to leak profusely. It still works fine, but is makes getting into and out of the machine a bit of a gamble (gravity sucks worse as you age).

Anyone have a source for a re-builder that could handle the job? I could tear it down and attempt to re-seal it myself, but it may work and/or work the same as before or maybe not at all.

White-Rogers seems to have gone away some time ago, so no drawings, manuals, ect are easily found.

I can remove the offending device and re-install it. But - to whom should to entrust this task to?

Thanks in advance.

General Opinions

Hey everyone,

I am looking at JLG, Genie, and SkyJack as companies and was wondering if anyone had their own opinions on the companies in general. The questions I have are as follows: What the general benefits that each company offers? For example, SkyTrack has interchangeable parts and easy maintenance with multiple types of machinery. What are some of the common problems with each brand? What makes you purchase a specific brand over the other?

Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Dan

SuperGrip Tires

Hey Guys,

I just took a job With SuperGrip Tires. My primary focus is on the forklift side. But, we carry a complete line of industrial/heavy equipment tires. I am here to help you guys find hard to find tires. I have a great group of people I have contact with that can help me here. For that matter, I will even sell them to you direct depending on the tire type and size. I m not just an automated computer posting up ads. I will not do that. Not nearly personal enough. I want to be here to help.We also have a line of tires the we call an Eliminator tire. It is a molded on tire/wheel assembly. Our primary goal here is to replace the conventional press on tire. Press on tires are great! Until you have to replace them. Then you have to schedule an appointment to have a press man come out and press some new tires on for you. With our new Eliminator, if you can change a flat tire, you can put on a new set of tires. It's that simple. The tires will perform best in a mostly concrete environment. Not only will these Eliminator tires reduce down time, but the tire wear is outstanding. We have put these out in some Lowe's Distribution facilities where they were tracked and monitored. They were getting around 3000 hours from our Eliminator Tires. Enough about all of that though. I will come back periodically and check in with you guys. Feel free to contact me also at ssmith@supergrip.net.

Thanks for Your Time,

Stan

I have 2 6000m telehanders. One of them the hydraulics is slow. You have to rev the engine to get the boom to move. I have replaced the filters and hydraulic fluid. Any troubleshooting ideas? The other works perfect.

Do you have a Genie towable boom lift?

I bought a 1999 Genie 34/19 towable boom lift. When I got it it didn't have a hydraulic pump on it and I REALLY need to know what type of pump it needs.

1. Does this lift use a single or dual action pump?

2. Why are there FOUR hoses on the Genie when it has 3 cylinders and where do those hoses need to be routed on the pump?

3. Does the new pump need to have "T"s on it to accommodate the 4 hoses?

4. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME TELLING ME TO GET A PUMP FROM GENIE BECAUSE I'M NOT PAYING $1000 FOR A $350 PUMP!!!!

4. I'd sure appreciate a phone number from a knowledgeable person on this subject so I can consult with you if I have a problem after I come up with a pump for it.

Anyone in the know can email me at: clseller@comcast.net ........... or you can call me at: 815-9seven3-812eight.

Buy the way - the lift IS for sale if anyone wants to buy it.

Thanks a bunch for any good information on this.

Question on a Genie towable boom lift..............

Does anyone know if a Genie towable boom lift has a single-acting electric pump or a double-acting pump?

I'm thinking it has to be double-acting.

Also - is there a place where I can buy a used pump for this machine? Is there sch a thing as a boom lift junk yard???

Genie wants an outrageous $2200 for a new one, but I have seen new 12 volt ones for $345, but I'd have to see if they'll swap the pump for a 24 volt unit.

HELP!!!

Gradall 534D-6 transmission/hydraulics issue

Hey Guys,
I need some serious help with this one. This past weekend I changed the hydraulic suction and return filters on my 2000 Gradall 534D-6. Now the machine has a howling noise like the pump is cavitating and the machine does not want to move. I did not prefill the filters before reinstalling. The square cut o-rings in the filter housing were replaced as well. Prior to changing the filters I drove the machine a couple of miles to the shop. It ran about 15mph +-. Now, if I let the machine run and warm up for about 30 minutes it will begin to move but wot= 3-4mph. Pump pressure is 5600psi. I had a Caterpillar Tech come out to the job site yesterday and he spent about 4 hrs working and believed he fixed the problem. He said he tightened up the suction filter and everything began working just fine. I went out to the job site, started the machine and immediately heard the growling sound like a lack of fluid though it quieted down a little as the machine warmed up. Boom works just fine. So in the end, I replaced the filters with the exact same WIX filters that were on the machine and confirmed the cross-over filter numbers. Any suggestions or ideas would be followed by a world of appreciation. Thanks, Bob.
