I am an operator for a masonry company and the machine they just rented has a issue with it's horn. It's nothing worth calling the rental company.
I'm working in the city and having to drive in the street otherwise I'd say whatever. The horn was not working unless you pushed a certain way. So I pulled off the rubber cover and something must have been out of wack. Not sure if the horn is only active when machine is running. It seemed like the metal ring in there has to touch something underneath to make the horn work. Well in taking off the rubber cover, now it seems like it doesn't sit snug on there like it should. Seems looser, but I've got the rubber cover lined up right where it belongs. Is there anything I can do to make it fit on better? I was just going to throw some tape around it and hope for the best, just don't want the thing to fall off and then get crap for it.
