I replaced the brake disks and booster cylinder. With out the machine running the pedal goes all the way to the floor but I can get fluid at the bleeders on the axle. With the machine running the pedal will pump up but I have no brakes. With the machine running I can't gett fluid to the bleeders on the axles. I talked to cat tech service and was told to replace the booster cylinder so I did. I still have the same problem. I am getting 400 lbs of pilot pressure to booster. I called cat back and they sent me the bleeding procedure. The master cylinder resivoir I have is sealed and has 3 lines on it. What they sent me is for a reservoir with a cap and one line on it. They call for drilling a hole in the cap and filling with 10/30 motor oil. then a set up a conglomeration of stuff. But I have sealed reservoir that fills with hydraulic oil when I hit a function? Anybody got any other info? Thanks

Lull Frame Tilt Problems
We have a Lull 844C-42 and it seems to have an issue with the frame tilting function. It rides mainly on 3 wheels with the left front hardly touching the ground. Is there any way to re-calibrate the frame tilt so it has equal pressure on both sides? Has anyone experienced this before? Also, does the tilt feature have any self adjustment when driving over uneven terrain?
Thanks for any help.

Lull 944E42 that won't run after bad fuel
We've got a Lull 944E42 with a Cummins diesel engine that was running rough last week (sputtering and stalling) then wouldn't start. After looking at the fuel it was pretty dirty and so was the fuel filter. All changed, tank drained lines blown out. New fuel and filter and now it won't start. Had mechanic come to job site and he was able to get it to run on ether. He could see fuel up to and past filter and could see fuel after injector pump. Injector pump raises pressure to 1600psi? Injectors pop open at high pressure? I'm no mechanic, but I know the basics and can follow the conversation.
He's suggesting new injectors and if not that then new (or rebuilt) injector pump. He's skeptical that 4 injectors would all be bad at same time.
Just wondering if I could point more definitively at the injector pump at this point. Really trying to cut down time as I need this machine working at critical point in build. Based on everything I saw It looks like pump to me. They have ordered injectors but not pump and I think that is wrong direction, we should have pump ready to go.
Ideas / comments / suggestions...
Thanks,
Roveer

1986 lull 644 slipping transmission
I have a 86 lull with a funk transmission , when you start it the machine moves fine, then is starts to slip, if you shut it off for a few minutes and start it back up it moves fine for a little bit, I changed the fluid cause it looked real pink and milky , also did the filter, it also seem to be leaking out of a weep or vent hole right above the drive shaft, but does not leak all the time, sometimes it will leave a puddle, sometimes,a few drops , any ideas what this can be?

Engine Oil for 3 cylinder Kubota?
I'm sure this is too simple of a question, but I just need to know...
I have 3 Donkey forklifts with Kubota 3 cylinder. I guess I don't know much about crankcase oil, nor diesel engines.
I've only changed the oil a couple times or so, and have used Rotella 15w-40 (or 20??), whatever the most common is.
I just stumbled on the Donkey parts list, and for oil it says "SAE 10w-30 Above CD Grade". That sounds like "plain ole motor oil" to me?
What should I be using?

JLG Lull 944E-42 will not accelerate or move in cold weather
Hello, the company I work for bought a 2005 or 06 944e Lull this past summer. It worked great all summer. A few days in late fall it got down to around 35 degrees it started acting up a bit. Driving it seemed to have a loss of power and surge. After driving it awhile the problem would go away. Now that it is full out Winter it seems to get worse the colder it is outside. For example today it was -4 degrees outside. I had it plugged in all night and it started just fine. I let it idle for 30 minutes. Went to drive it and it would not move one bit. I hit the accelerator pedal and it acts like I am doing nothing. Te engine would not even rev. So another 15 minutes later I decide to shift it into reverse and then forward over and over. I would get it to slowly move a couple inches then a couple feet then finally I got to a point where it would drive but barely. Driving it in reverse also helped way more than trying to go forward. Still I would have the pedal to the floor and it would act as if I was doing nothing, About every 15 seconds it would surge the rpm's slightly but that's it. It took me 15 minutes to go 100 feet into our heated shop. I got it into the shop and no kidding 20 minutes later I fired it up and it revs and accelerates just fine. However if I try to work with it outside it will go back to surging when it is cold. It is like there is no pressure in the fuel or a throttle position sensor is out but when it is warm out it works great. What am I missing? We use winter diesel fuel and I have changed all the filters. It is the Cummins engine in it. Thanks

Convert JLG 45HA from batteries to gasoline
We have an electric lift which has been working pretty well as a hybrid. It has eight 6V golf car batteries driving a GE 5hp motor at 48 volts. I bought a sophisticated 48volt charger which replaces some of the batteries' charge during operation from a 2kw Honda inverter generator. The batteries are tired and in need of replacement after 3-1/2 years. I have tried to keep them maintained, but the lift spends most of its time away from grid power, and the capacity of the bank is inadequate for the duty cycle I often need-even with new batteries. Faced with replacing the batteries to the tune of $1000.00, I am considering replacing the electric motor with a gasoline engine. The existing electric motor turns a 3-section pump and runs at full battery voltage when pedal or ground control switch is activated. I have not checked RPM of electric motor, but I'm thinking it should be OK to drive the pump at 3600 rpm using a solenoid to run up engine to rated speed. I know I'll have to replace batteries with ballast. Controls run on 12 volts, and emergency pump has it's own battery and works well, so I'm planning on adding a good additional 12 volt battery with an isolator to charge the two independently. I'm figuring on 12-13hp engine. I welcome thoughts and advice.

Hydraulic question on a Carelift
Older zoom boom 6044 (ser # B6044008490) Cable broke from the joystick to the Frame tilt valve. I replaced the cable and the machine tilted just fine to the left but barely moves to the right. You can hear it loading the engine its just not moving. I have tried adjusting the cable thinking it maybe wasn't stroking the valve enough but it didn't make a difference. Here's the relevant page out of the parts manual. not much help. So Since I can hear it loading the engine I'm thinking there's something bypassing when your stroke it to go tilt right but not left. However the book has no hydraulic schematics. Anybody have any ideas where to start?

No Spark in JLG 33RTS
I have the Ford industrial 4 cyl. gas engine, VSG 411. It will not start, there is no spark. We installed a new coil pack, with no positive results. Have 12 volts in and out of everything I can check.
Asking for some helpful suggestions, and opinions, on what to check next, or how to solve this problem
Thank you.

LP Forklift
Anyone know if they make an adapter to run a LP forklift off a 20 pound gas grill cylinder?
Have been looking at some upcoming auctions and while the machines run some don't have cylinders. Figured I would buy the right cylinder if needed but if it came with one then wouldn't bother. Just need a way to start it up and get it on and off the trailer

JLG 600s Basket does not swing right to left
Hello people I am working on 2 JLG 600s at the moment.
One has all necessary functions besides that the basket only does not swing, like move right to left. I have no basket swing function on platform as well as ground control. Both of these machines also do not have power at the 110 outlets on the platforms as wel. And only one has the kicks the generator on with the switch right next to the outlets as well.
This thing is a mess, I have schematic but don't really know where to start. I can tell there's been another mechanic on this. It's a rats nest.

Hello people I am working on 2 JLG 600s at the moment.
One has all necessary functions besides that the basket only does not swing, like move right to left. I have no basket swing function on platform as well as ground control. I can see the hoses moving when I'm on the ground under the hood on the DCV. The DCV is electronic I nothice as well It sounds like it's deadheading instantly.
Both of these machines also do not have power at the 110 outlets on the platforms as wel. And only one has the kicks the generator on with the switch right next to the outlets as well. One of them is actually missing the a/c analog box under the left side hood.
